Dysphagia (trouble swallowing) caused by any neurological disorder (stroke, Parkinson’s Disease, Huntington’s Disease, ALS, etc…), Traumatic brain injuries (caused by falls or accidents), Head and Neck cancer, brain tumors, and/or side effects from surgery and/or radiation.
Individualized, Compassionate Care
We will evaluate each patient and determine the appropriate treatment on an individual basis. Helping you to regain confidence and independence when eating. We focus on increasing the safety of swallowing and decreasing the risk of aspiration through the use of compensatory strategies and/or exercises. If appropriate, we will use exercise-based therapy such as MDTP, vital stim, and/or ampcare to achieve results.
